MATTHEWS, N.C. — Sources say police seized $225,000 worth of marijuana after it was mistakenly delivered to TCBY in Matthews.
A police report claims an employee at the TCBY on Weddington Road opened three cardboard boxes that were delivered to the store. A white, 5-gallon bucket was found in each box. Police say each bucket was filled with marijuana.
The report was made on December 4th but no arrests have been made in the case so far. Police are working to figure out where the packages were sent from. Check back for updates.
