Fall weather for the first week back to school
Get the pumpkin spice ready!Β
Itβs back to school for Charlotte Mecklenburg, and many other schools across the WCCB Charlotte viewing area tomorrow, and the forecast couldn’t be better! After a couple of Sunday evening showers, we clear out, and rush in a comfortable air mass through the Piedmont and High Country. Highs tomorrow will be near 85 in the Piedmont, and closer to 70 in the High Country. These temperatures, a breeze from the north, and dry weather will set the tone of the week. Things only get better by Tuesday as highs struggle to crack 80 in the Piedmont with increasing clouds. This pattern of highs near 80 with low humidity, and no rain lasts through Thursday at least. We could even see morning lows dip into the 50s for the Piedmont by Thursday morning, with some 40s in the High Country.
With the Starbucks fall menu coming back to stores on Tuesday, we will all be indulging in the fall vibes. We do have a busy end of the week coming up in the Queen City with the Dukes Mayo Bowl, other college athletics, and high school football. Right now, next weekend looks alright weather wise. Temperatures will stay comfortable, but we will need to watch for some rain chances, Friday especially. An upper level system looks to slide through, but it looks like most of the rain should stay south of our viewing area. Obviously, with this being 5 days away, keep coming back for the latest!
