Police recover body of missing swimmer
Police have recovered the body of a missing swimmer on Mountain Island Lake.Β
Mount Holly Fire says there was a swimmer in distress in the water around 7 p.m. Thursday night. The victim jumped in and saved them, but ended up drowning himself.
His body was found just before noon on Friday. He has not been identified.
