CHARLOTTE, NC — Investigators with CMPD’s Animal Care & Control are searching for a man who was reportedly abusing a dog at a dog park Saturday evening.
The department was made aware of the incident via social media posts that began coming in Monday. According to officials, a post made to Facebook around 7:21pm Saturday alleged that the poster had witnessed a man abusing a dog at a dog park on Pineville-Matthews Road.
AC&C has since been assigned to investigate the animal cruelty complaint.
Anyone with information regarding the identity of the man pictured or this case is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600. AC&C also asks anyone who believes they may have been witness to animal cruelty to call 911 or 311 to report the incident.
