Rising’s Pet of the Week from Charlotte-Mecklenburg Animal Care & Control is Pop Tart! A two-year-old pit bull terrier mix, Pop Tart is confident and independent, which makes her a fantastic companion after a busy day — she simply wants a cozy cuddle with her person. She’s potty trained and crate trained, great on leash, and a quiet girl who rarely makes a peep. At home, she’s very respectful and quick to adjust, and she’s dog-friendly. She knows sit, takes treats gently, and loves head scratches and cuddles.
