Police Search for Woman Accused of Murder

CHARLOTTE, NC — A murder suspect on the loose. Police are searching for a Charlotte woman accused of murdering a man whose body was found in Gaston County.

27-year old Doris Alvarado-Peraza is charged with the murder of 28-year old Miguel Romero. Police say the two knew each other.

A neighbor found Romero’s body in the Mallard Creek neighborhood off Crowders Creek Road on December 22.

CMPD says Alvarado-Peraza lives on Kentwood Lane in south Charlotte. Anyone who sees her or has any information is asked to call Crime Stoppers.
