Breezy, Cool & Dry Friday

Coolest morning Friday AM since April

Forecast:
Tonight: Clear, chilly and breezy. Lows in the upper 40s in the Piedmont and in the 30s across the Mountains.

Friday: Morning frost possible in the mountains with lows falling into the 30s across the High Country. A mix of sun and clouds. Highs in the upper 60s, near 70. Still breezy with wind gusts up to 20 mph.

Saturday: Partly sunny and breezy. Highs near 70.

Sunday: Partly sunny. Isolated showers are possible, but dry air over the area may eat most of it up. Highs in the low 70s.

Notes:
– Tropics: Tropical Storm Jerry will bring Tropical Storm conditions to the Leeward Islands through early Friday. This system will likely strengthen into hurricane, but is not a threat to the United States.
– Nor’Easter: A powerful low-pressure system will likely form off the southeast coast late this week into this weekend. This will move northward over the weekend bringing significant surf and beach impacts to the east coast.

Have a great evening!
