One shot, killed near SouthPark Mall

CHARLOTTE, NC – CMPD is investigating a homicide in South Charlotte.

Police say someone shot and killed a woman at an apartment complex near SouthPark Mall on Barclay Downs Road around 7 a.m. on Monday.

Medic took the woman to the hospital where she died.
