The Edge: If you liked the new Ed Gein show on Netflix, something may be wrong with you

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – If you binged Monsters: The Ed Gein Story, and found yourself enjoying the gory drama, you might want to rethink what you’re binge watching. According to a mental health specialist, people who grew up in high-stress situations might mistake peacefulness for boring. So they need the chaos to feel comfortable.

Gein brutally murdered two women and created a ‘house of horrors’ in his home after robbing graves and dismembering bodies in the 1950s. Investigators say he also used body parts to make clothes and furniture.
