Concord Man Accused Of Killing Paramedic Wife Arrested

The woman killed in a Concord domestic dispute has been identified as Rebekah Hart-O’Sullivan, an employee with the Mecklenburg EMS Agency.

Medic released the following statement:

On the evening of January 4, 2018 Rebekah Hart-O’Sullivan, a paramedic with Mecklenburg EMS Agency (Medic), was killed in an apparent domestic altercation.

“This tragic development has had a profound impact on Medic and its employees,” said Joe Penner, executive director, Mecklenburg EMS Agency. “On behalf of Rebekah’s co-workers, our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends during this time of solace.”

Rebekah has been a part of the Medic family since 2010 and most recently served as a Relief Operations Supervisor.

“Thank you for allowing Rebekah’s family, friends, and coworkers the time and space to grieve during this difficult time,” said Penner.

CONCORD, NC — Police have released information on the suspect wanted in connection to a homicide Thursday night.

Concord Police say they’re looking for 53-year-old Patrick William O’Sullivan. Police say he is wanted for 1st degree Murder that stemmed from a domestic situation.

Police say they do not currently believe he poses a threat to the general public.

Concord Police tweeted out that the incident occurred on Todd Drive NE around 9pm.
