CHARLOTTE, NC — CMPD has issued a warrant for Sherwin Shayegan, otherwise known as the “Piggyback Bandit,” after he allegedly rubbed a man’s shoulders at Charlotte Douglas back in 2017.
According to reports, the incident happened back in April. The victim, a 20-year-old Florida resident, told CMPD that he was traveling in Charlotte around that time when Shayegan, 34, began rubbing his shoulders and then handed him an envelope.
Police say the envelope contained $10 and a note, which the man provided to police, thanking him for allowing the massage.
The victim says he recognized Shayegan on a news report Thursday regarding his arrest at Newark International for a similar incident involving a juvenile.
