Two Women Wanted For Stealing A Wallet, Then Charging Over $2,000

CORNELIUS, NC — Police are looking for two women that allegedly stole a person’s wallet, and then ran up more than $2,000 in charges at nearby stores.

According to reports, the theft happened on Tuesday, December 12 at the Gotta Yoga Studio in Jetton Village. While inquiring about a membership under a fake name, police say one woman distracted the studio’s manager and the other woman stole a wallet.

Investigators say the women then went to a Huntersville Target and charged roughly $1600 on two credit cards, then charged another $462 on another card at a Walmart in Concord.
