CHARLOTTE, NC — CMPD is investigating after several people fired shots at a man Tuesday afternoon on Nobles Avenue.
Around 1:13pm, police say multiple 911 calls were placed about a group of suspects shooting at a man at an apartment complex on Nobles Avenue in west Charlotte. The man suffered a serious but non-life threatening gunshot wound, according to police, and was taken to CMC for treatment.
Police say a nearby apartment and vehicle were also hit during the gunfire, but no one was inside either at the time.
Police are still searching for suspects, and say the investigation into what caused the shooting is ongoing.
