YORK CO, S.C.– Officials with the South Carolina Patrol say that one person was killed in a single-vehicle accident in York County on Bowater Road Sunday morning.
The accident happened just before 4a.m. and officials say that Benjamin Adam Kelly, 20, was the driver of the 1995 Nissan SUV that drove off of the left side of the road and hit several trees.
Kelly was not wearing a seatbelt and had to be extricated from the vehicle.
Officials say that Kelly was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash is still under investigation.
