1 dead, 1 seriously hurt in west Charlotte car crash

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – One person is dead, and another is seriously hurt after a crash in west Charlotte Tuesday morning.

The crash happened near the intersection of Remount Road and Revolution Park Drive just after 4 a.m.

Medic confirmed that the one person died, and said the other was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

No word yet on what caused the crash.
