MATTHEWS, NC — Police are looking for two suspects that may have robbed a 7-Eleven at gunpoint on January 13th.
The robbery happened around 1:31am at the store on E. Independence Boulevard at Matthews-Mint Hill Road. The clerk told police he was robbed at gunpoint by two men.
They’re both described as black males, in their 20’s, around 5’11”, and roughly 130lbs. One suspect was seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, shredded blue jeans, and white sneakers. The other suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a white logo on the front, dark pants, dark shoes, and may have had a mustache.
They were both seen leaving the store in a small silver or grey two door vehicle, police say. There were no injuries during the robbery.
