Black Ice Poses Big Safety Concern Overnight

CHARLOTTE, NC — Medic is warning residents that black ice can also be a personal safety problem.

Medic says they responded to dozens of calls Wednesday about people slipping and falling on the ice and getting hurt. Officials say to stay indoors unless you absolutely have to venture out.

The elderly and people with physical disabilities should also be especially careful outside in these freezing temperatures.
