Mold Risk Forces Bed Bath & Beyond To Recall Nearly 200,000 Comforters

CHARLOTTE, NC — Bed Bath & Beyond is recalling roughly 175,000 comforters due to the risk of mold exposure.

The recall includes all twin, full, queen, and king size Hudson comforters by UGG sold between August and October of 2017. The comforters were sold in four different solid colors including garnet, navy, gray, and oatmeal.

The company says mold could be present on the product, which poses a risk of respiratory or other infections in people with compromised immune systems, damaged lungs or an allergy to mold.

Officials say anyone with a comforter covered under this recall should stop using it immediately and return it to Bed Bath & Beyond for a full refund.
