FRANCE — Fights and riots were reported at several supermarkets in France as shoppers tried to get their hands on discounted jars of Nutella.
The company discounted the price of Nutella by 70% and people have literally gone “nuts” trying to get their hands on a jar.
Police were called after a brawl erupted in the town of Ostricourt. An employee at the store told a local newspaper that people broke several items inside the store fighting for jars of Nutella.
