China Grove Police Arrest Two Suspects Connected To Six Robberies
CHINA GROVE, NC — Police have charged two suspects in connection to six robberies from local pharmacies across three cities. Ricky Shackleford, 56, and his step-son Halston Clark, 23, were both arrested Friday.
Police say Clark robbed a Salisbury Rite Aid on Jake Alexander Blvd on October 23 and November 24, 2017, a Salisbury CVS on Statesville Blvd on December 17, 2017, and a then China Grove Rite Aid on November 29, 2017 and again on Wednesday.
Ricky Shackleford is charged with helping his step-son during the robbery on January 24th at the China Grove Rite Aid.
Officials say the men were also responsible for another robbery in Kannapolis, but no further information has been released.
Salisbury Police have charged Clark with three counts of Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon and three counts of Trafficking Opiates. In China Grove, Clark faces two counts each of Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon and Trafficking Opiates.
Shackleford was charged by China Grove Police with Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon and Trafficking Opiates.
The investigations are still ongoing.
