Record number of shoppers predicted for Thanksgiving weekend

A record number of people are expected to spend the upcoming Thanksgiving weekend shopping.

According to the National Retail Federation, nearly 187 million people will shop from Thanksgiving through Cyber Monday.

That’s an increase of three million shoppers from last year, which was the previous record. 

According to the survey, Black Friday and Cyber Monday will be the top shopping days.

The top three items on people’s lists are clothing and accessories, gift cards, and toys.
