Firefighter Injured Battling Cornelius House Fire

CORNELIUS, N.C. — A firefighter was injured battling a house fire in Cornelius. The fire happened at a home on Catawba Ave shortly before 9:30am.

A mayday was declared during the fire and one Cornelius firefighter was taken to a local hospital for observation. That firefighter is expected to be okay. There is no word on what caused the fire.

Huntersville Fire Department posted several pictures from the fire and this:
