LINCOLNTON, NC — Deputies are trying to find an enclosed trailer containing nearly $3,000 worth of school band equipment after it was taken from the grounds of East Lincoln Middle School.
The trailer’s owner, Steven Christman, reported it stolen on Friday. Christman says the trailer, a black 24-foot double axle Cynergy enclosed trailer valued at $5,500, contained drums, a vibraphone, and several other instruments valued at $2,900. The trailer has a South Carolina registration plate of UP34516.
Deputies say the trailer is registered to Christman, and the instruments inside belong to both Christman and Weddington and Marvin Ridge High Schools.
