LANCASTER, SC — A suspect accused of shooting a 26-year-old man last Thursday night has been arrested.
Shibree Truesdale, 25, was arrested at the Carriage Inn on North Main Street Friday in connection to a shooting the night before at a home on Locustwood Avenue.
Deputies were called to Springs Memorial Hospital around 10pm after the victim was dropped off with gunshot wounds to the lower back and abdomen. Investigators identified Truesdale as the suspect after speaking with the victim and the person who dropped him off at the hospital.
A woman and two children were also inside the hotel room when Truesdale was arrested. Deputies say they searched the room and found roughly 15.5 grams of marijuana in a mason jar, digital scales, and a plastic straw.
Truesdale is charged with Attempted Murder, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Violent Crime, and Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana. He was denied bond on all charges.
