American Airlines Flight Returns To Charlotte After Odor Complaints

CHARLOTTE, N.C.– An American Airlines flight headed to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic has returned to Charlotte after complaints of an odor in the cabin.

According to officials, flight 1965 returned safely to its gate Wednesday afternoon, where the passengers and crew were evacuated and evaluated for sickness

The flight was an A330-200 aircraft with 183 passengers and 10 crew members aboard, which took off from Charlotte-Douglas International Airport at 11:43 a.m.

Sources say people have complained of odors on this aircraft before.
