CHARLOTTE, NC — Police are investigating after a person was shot in east Charlotte.
The shooting happened around 7:55pm at the Inn Towne Suites on Albemarle Road near Lawyers Road.
A 50-year-old man was shot in the ankle, according to police. Medic says he was taken to CMC with non-life threatening injuries.
Investigators believe the man was specifically targeted by a suspect outside of the room. According to police, the victim has been feuding with a known individual who is now a person of interest in the case.
Police have not yet released the identities of the victim or possible suspect. Check back for updates.
