Just Bee the Change: Rio’s Law hopes for NC
CHARLESTON, SC — A South Carolina mother is working to bring groundbreaking legislation across state lines. Layla Luna, founder of the nonprofit Just Bee, helped champion Rio’s Bill β making South Carolina the first state where families can apply for a specialty license plate identifying that someone in the vehicle has autism or is neurodivergent.
Luna’s mission is simple but far-reaching: to create safer, more supportive environments for neurodivergent children and adults, no matter which Carolina they call home.
