CHARLOTTE, NC — CMPD has been hard at work after responding to five shootings across the Charlotte area within the past 24 hours.
The crimes, which include two homicides and an officer involved shooting, are spread out across west, northwest, northeast, and east Charlotte. Police say all of the shootings so far appear to be targeted, and not random.
Investigators also do not believe any of the shootings are connected at this time.
