Concord Police Say Reports Of Shooting Inside Concord Mills Are False

CONCORD, NC — Police say a dispute outside of Victoria Secret led to false reports of shots being fired inside Concord Mills Friday evening.

Concord Police say there was a verbal dispute outside of the Victoria Secret in which one person was carrying a “non-working BB gun.”

The incident led to rumors on social media about shots being fired inside the mall, but police say that is not true. No shots were fired, and the BB gun was recovered by officers.

Police have not released any further information on the incident at this time.
