Carolinas HealthCare System Changes Name To Atrium Health

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Carolinas HealthCare Systems has announced a name change to Atrium Health.

Atrium Health began as Charlotte Memorial Hospital in 1940 and re-branded as Tree of Life in the 1980s.  In the late 1990s, Carolinas HealthCare system was introduced and recognized until the current change.
