The Edge: Scared man hides while his female friend fights off attacker

ARMENIA, COLOMBIA- A man is catching flak online for what he did not do when a knife-wielding man attacked his companion. The pair of American tourists were walking down the street in Colombia, when the attacker approached them, lunging at the woman trying to steal her backpack. The man she is with hides behind a wall. A man passing by on a motorcycle jumps into action to help the woman. He hops off his bike and repeatedly hits the attacker with his helmet. A few other people also jump in, while her companion hangs back.
