Two Arrested Following Huntersville Armed Robbery; Police Seek Other Suspects
HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. — Two people were arrested following an armed robbery at The Landings apartment complex in Huntersville Tuesday night.
Police say several armed suspects entered an apartment on Landings Drive in Huntersville and proceeded to assault the occupants while robbing them of money and property.
The Huntersville Police say the suspects covered their faces with bandanas and two were armed with handguns.
A third suspect was armed with an expandable baton which was used to assault a female victim. The female victim was also punched and kicked in the face and head area.
All of the suspects fled on foot. Two possible suspects were located by patrol officers circulating area. They were identified by one of the victims and transported to the Huntersville Police Department.
Jamiel Micah Blackwell, 20, was charged with Breaking and Entering, Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon,
Conspiracy to Commit Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon and Assault with a Deadly Weapon
Inflicting Serious Injury.
Serbraun Marie Thompson, 18, was charged with Breaking and Entering, Robbery with a DangerousWeapon, Conspiracy to Commit Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon and Assault with a Deadly
Weapon Inflicting Serious Injury.
This investigation is ongoing and detectives are still looking for three persons of interest. Anyone
