Police have arrested 20-year-old Tarian Ramsey in connection to a shooting Wednesday afternoon on North Tryon.
Ramsey is charged with Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill and Inflicting Serious Injury, and Attempted First Degree Murder.

CHARLOTTE, NC — A man has life threatening injuries after being shot Wednesday afternoon in north Charlotte.
Police say the man was shot on N. Tryon near E. Sugar Creek Road just after 2pm. He then ran to Beachway Circle and called for help.
The victim was taken to CMC with life threatening injuries. Police are still searching for a suspect.
