Police are investigating a deadly shooting in Albemarle.
It happened around 6 p.m. Wednesday near South Bell Avenue and Inger Street. Upon arrival, officers located a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have identified a suspect and said the shooter and the victim knew each other.
