Police Searching For Drive By Shooting Suspects

CHARLOTTE, NC– Police are investigating a homicide that left one man dead early Wednesday morning.

Detectives say around 4a.m Wednesday, the victim was traveling down Botany Street when the suspects inside another vehicle pulled along side and began shooting.

The victim reportedly got out of the vehicle and ran behind a nearby residence where he collapsed.

Medics pronounced the man identified as Jamarcus Devonne Walker, 23, deceased from gunshot wounds.
