Bicyclist hit, killed in Lancaster
Lancaster Police have identified a bicyclist hit and killed by a vehicle.
It happened around 7 p.m Friday on Arch Street near South Main Street.
Investigators say 36-year-old Jeffrey Jewett was riding a bike westbound after dark when all of this happened. Jewett was transported to the hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The driver of the vehicle has not been identified at this time. Thereβs no word on whether they will face any charges.
