Body found as crews respond to condo fire in Charlotte
CHARLOTTE, N.C. -A person was found dead when firefighters responded to a condo fire in east Charlotte Wednesday morning.
The fire broke out on Sharon Chase Drive just after 6:30 a.m.
Nine units were damaged. Charlotte fire officials said one person was hurt during the fire.
Officials also said that a body was found after firefighters arrived in an area unrelated to the fire.
They did not say how the person died, nor if their death seemed suspicious.
No other details were released
