Tweet Kicks Off Heated Debate Over Bedding
Millennials are now ruining bed linens.
People are debating whether its necessary to sleep under the top sheet that separates your comforter from the fitted sheet on your mattress.
The debate kicked off when a woman tweeted: ‘I don’t know a single millennial who uses one. Top sheets are archaic.’
Her tweet got 20-thousand retweets and hundreds of replies.
Some say they skip the top sheet so its easier to make the bed, while others complained about getting tangled in it while sleeping.
Science says the reason to use the top sheet is that it keeps you comforter clean.
Experts say you should wash your bedding once a week, but a new survey says people don’t do that.
On average, we change our sheets every 35 days.
While single men only change their sheets four times a year.
So if you’re not using the top sheet, you should be washing your comforter more often.
