Teacher: Parents Need To Stop Coddling Their Kids

She posted on Facebook saying parents need to take responsibility for their bad kids. In the now viral post, Julie Marburger says she disciplined a 6th grader… he then called his mom, who yelled at her over the phone in front of the student and the rest of the class. Marburger also wrote, parents are disrespectful and their kids are worse. She says, they need to stop coddling and enabling their kids. The problem is so bad, she’s actually quitting her job.

Has coddling an entire generation of children set them up for failure?
