CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police say they made an arrest in a shooting that happened Sunday evening in west Charlotte. Β
Detectives arrested Kwame Crawford. Β Police say he shot a man on Lakewood Avenue just after 5 p.m. Sunday. Β The victim is currently recovering at a local hospital.
Crawford was arrested early Monday morning. Β He has been charged with attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury and possession of a firearm by a felon. Β
