Gaston County Assistant District Attorney Arrested On Felony Drug Charges

WAXHAW, N.C. — An assistant district attorney for Gaston County was arrested on felony drug charges in Waxhaw over the weekend.

Police say they pulled over a vehicle early Sunday morning driven by James Brandon Graham.

Officials say the officer noticed drug paraphernalia in the vehicle and then received consent to search the car.  That’s when the officer reportedly found heroin and meth inside the vehicle.

Graham has been charged with possession of heroin, possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia.  Police say he also had an expired tag and registration.
