CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte Fire crews responded to a house fire in south Charlotte Thursday morning.
Officials say it was reported in the 2100 block of Brandon Circle in Myers Park around 2:30 a.m.
Firefighters were able to put out the blaze in under 40 minutes.
No injuries were reported.
The Charlotte Fire Investigation Task Force determined the fire was accidental and began in the attic near the heating and air conditioning unit.
Estimated property damage is $135,000.
