The Edge: Mom missing for 24 years found safe in NC

CHARLOTTE, N.C.- After 24 years of mystery and heartache, a North Carolina mother who vanished without a trace has been found alive. Michele Hundley Smith disappeared in December 2001. She was last seen leaving home for Christmas shopping. This week, investigators located Smith at an undisclosed location in North Carolina. But she has asked that her current whereabouts remain private, leaving her family both relieved and frustrated.
