Dog treats sold in the Carolinas recalled due to salmonella risk

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A recall alert for pet owners that could impact the health of you, your family and your dog.

Six-ounce bags of Elite Treats Chicken Chips for Dogs could be tainted with salmonella. Impacted packages have an expiration date of April 2027, and were sold at stores across the Carolinas.

If you have any, throw them out.
