Breaking And Entering Suspects Flip Vehicle While Fleeing Police In North Charlotte
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Two breaking and entering suspects have been arrested after their vehicle overturned while trying to evade police. A witness provided WCCB with video from the scene.
At about 6:50 a.m., on Friday, April 27, 2018, CMPD officers responded to reports of a suspicious vehicle near the 4900 block of Gibbons Link Road.
Arriving officers discovered a home had been broken into and saw a white Dodge Caravan speeding away from the scene.
Officers tried to conduct a traffic stop but the vehicle fled, resulting in a short vehicle pursuit that ended when the Dodge Caravan struck a telephone pole and overturned.
The driver and passenger were arrested. Police say both suspects had minor injuries.
