Trinity United Methodist Church hosts 66th Annual Barbecue

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Trinity United Methodist Church held it’s 66th Annual Barbecue in north Charlotte. 5,300 pounds of barbecue were on hand, along with the church’s signature house-made sauce and desserts.

Church members say even with all of the delicious food, the event is really about bringing the community together. Church member Ava Summers Lewis says, “This is year 40 for me of the 66, and I’m still hearing stories from our elders. And, you know, it’s wonderful.

All of the proceeds from Thursday’s barbecue go toward Trinity United Methodist Church missions.
