Gas prices hit record high under Trump

AAA reports the national average for gas is now $3.32 per gallon for regular unleaded. 

That is the highest it’s been under either President Trump’s two terms. 

On Election Day in 2024, the average price for a gallon was $3.10.

Here in North Carolina, the average price for a gallon of gas right now is a little less than the national average at $3.12 per gallon. 

It’s even cheaper in South Carolina, where drivers are seeing prices around $2.99 per gallon.
