Silfab Solar provides update on operations after chemical spills

FORT MILL, S.C. – Silfab Solar is providing an update after two chemical incidents at their plant in Fort Mill.

Officials say crews are working with South Carolina environmental officials and engineers to repair damage from spill at the factory on March 3, and a leak reported Last Thursday.

The statement comes after a Silfab spokesperson said the company was working through system testing.

NearbyΒ Flint Hill Elementary School resumed classes on Monday after being shut down for two days due to the incidents.

No one was injured in either chemical incidents.
