Monroe Police arrest juvenile in disturbing break-in case
MONROE, N.C. – Monroe Police say a juvenile is now in custody after a disturbing burglary case on Cotton Street.
Investigators say the suspect broke into an apartment late Wednesday night, entered through a window, and tried to remove a woman’s clothing while she was asleep. She woke up and screamed, and the suspect ran off.
Detectives tracked down the suspect through evidence and tips, but due to the suspect’s age, police will not release their name. The investigation is still active.
