Local investigators use new tech to create composite picture to help ID human remains

LANCASTER CO., S.C. – The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office has released a brand new image they want you to see.

Investigators used advanced DNA and forensic tools to create a composite picture of a man in his 20s. They hope the picture helps them identify human remains that were found in November 2024 in a wooded area off Bethel Road.

They believe the remains belong to a Latino male, around 25 years old and around 5’7″ tall. If you recognize this person, call police.
